Bittersweet: A blend of emotions that are sweet but also tinged with sadness.

It is with mixed, bittersweet emotions that we announce the closing of the studio effective December 1, 2024. This endeavor has been extremely rewarding for us and we couldn’t have done it without all of you! 

It has truly been an honor of mine to serve the Northport/Huntington community over the last 3+ years. I’ve met the most amazing young kids, some of the most creative and likable adults, and partnered with some of the coolest local businesses. YOU are the reason the studio has been such a success! Clark (Mr. Clark to some of you) will continue his career in the arts as the new Director of Art Education for One River School of Art & Design in Woodbury. 

Thank you to every kid and family who has celebrated their birthday with us (close to 100)! Thank you to every parent who has entrusted us with their children, with the hope that they can grow stronger as an artist, creative and person. 

Thank you to those who filled our Freestyle Fridays, those who followed along during Saturday Morning Cartoons, the adults who came to drink and ink at Arts & Crafts, our squad that spent every afternoon at our after school program, those that wracked their brains at Kids Trivia Night and everyone else who has enjoyed what Ink’d has had to offer. 

I hope that the purpose and vision of Ink’d lives on forever. This space was always about being creative, collaborating with others and engaging with our community. Thank you for coming along for the ride!
