Mondays in March, 5:30-7pm. Ages 5-12.
March kicks off every year with National Read Across America Day, which happens on none other than Dr. Seuss’s birthday! We pay homage to one of, if not THE, most famous children's illustrator by creating our own renditions of his work. Students will learn what makes Seuss’s work so dynamic and how bright colors mixed with bold black line work creates such striking visual worlds. By the end of the month, students will go home with two large illustrations, fully painted and inked, based on Suess’s characters, but created & designed by them!
This is a 4-part course that will be held on the following Mondays: March 4, 11, 18 & 25.
*There is a three student minimum for this class. If the minimum student requirement is not met, customers who have already paid will be credited the full cost of the class and able to use that credit towards any future class(es).
